Singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong has visited Singapore and Malaysia to promote a Korean cosmetic brand.
KEYEAST announced in a press release on Wednesday that Kim flew into Singapore on December 1 where he met with local fans and attended press conference and interviews with media outlets to promote THEFACESHOP.
In early September, the 24-year-old heartthrob was chosen as the new face of THEFACESHOP to endorse the cosmetics brand both domestically and internationally.
Kim held a special photograph and autograph session with fans at the IMM Sky Garden and also made a donation to worldwide non-governmental organisation World Vision from the profits made from an auction for his autograph.
Kim then flew to Malaysia on December 4 for interviews with local press and held a meet-and-greet at the Pavilion KL Outlet with over 3,000 fans in attendance.
"I had a great time meeting and spending time with my fans even though it was for a short time", Kim was quoted as saying.
Kim made his debut as the leader of the popular boy band SS501 in 2005. He became a household name throughout Asia, starring in last year's smash hit series "Boys over Flowers".
He recently played the role of Baek Sung-jo in the Wednesday and Thursday night series "Naughty Kiss", which is the Korean small screen adaptation of the Japanese comic "Itazura na Kiss".
